Role: Director of Finance & Accounting

Location: Remote US-Based

Essential Functions:

• The Director of Finance and Accounting at CG Oncology is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
• This position leads the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, implementing internal controls, and driving process improvements.
• The role collaborates closely with senior management and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and drive the company's financial success.
• Additionally, this individual is responsible for ensuring efficient cashflow management, owning clinical finance models, leading equity management, managing payroll along with associated benefits analysis and accurate/timely monthly accruals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Ten plus (10+) years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least five plus (5+) years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Experience managing financial audits, tax compliance, and treasury functions.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, SEC reporting requirements and regulatory compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and change management initiatives.
• Strong financial modeling skills and highly proficient in Excel required.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence

The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $200,000-$215,000. The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity. In addition, to the base salary, CG Oncology offers a very attractive set of Total Rewards (including bonus and equity) and Well-Being Benefits provided as part of the overall compensation package for this role.
